Our PHILOSOPHY
At Tidal Training Club, we believe fitness should make you stronger for life — not just for the gym.
Our approach is built on General Physical Preparedness (GPP) — a broad, adaptable foundation that helps you handle anything life throws your way.
Because real fitness isn’t about appearance — it’s about capability.
We design training that prepares you to move, lift, run, push, pull, and play with confidence — whether that means chasing your kids, crushing a workday, or showing up at your best every day.
Strength is where it starts — the anchor that supports every goal. But we also value agility, speed, balance, and endurance, because strength means more than muscle. It’s energy, resilience, and confidence in motion.
And we believe you shouldn’t have to do it alone.
At Tidal, connection fuels consistency.
Our community is built on showing up — for ourselves and for each other — because progress sticks when it’s shared.
We also believe training should feel good.
When movement is fun, you look forward to it. You keep showing up. And that’s when results become a lifestyle.
So yes — we’ll teach you how to squat, push, pull, run, jump, drag, press, and throw.
But more importantly, we’ll help you build the kind of strength that carries into every part of your life.
We build strong humans — physically, mentally, and together.
Let’s get stronger, together.
Do I have to be fit to join?
We get this question a lot and we often hear ‘I need to get fit before I join’
The short answer is NO! We are here to HELP you! But, it is ideal to have a baseline of strength and Conditioning so you don’t feel too out of it.
Coach Brendan runs through a simple baseline strength and conditioning test you can do at home. If you can complete this, then you will be just fine!
Equipment needed: Kettlebell or Dumbbell or a bag full of books - some kind of weight!
